🇺🇸🇩🇪 #GP0612 – Die Associated Press (AP) berichtet über den Nikolausspaziergang von Göppingen
Wolfgang Juergens, a spokesman from the regional police headquarters in the city of Ulm, said the incident followed a “candle-lit walk” which witnesses and the police confirmed walk against COVID-19 restrictions in Germany.
“Markus Haintz, a German lawyer who is involved in the country’s anti-lockdown protests, told the AP that several of his clients were present at the incident, and they confirmed the woman was detained because she did not provide any identification.
“The lady did not want to identify herself, but this has nothing to do with a vaccination card, but with participation in a hygienic walk,” Haintz said in an email to the AP. “Hygienic walks are directed against the Corona measures, people want to send a signal together that they do not agree with these measures and do something for their health.””
